The definite price of the tablet reportedly is not known though the estimated amount is somewhere between Rs 30,000 and Rs 40,000. It also may be less than 30,000 but it shall depend on the import duties levied at the time of the launch plus the currency valuation. The tablet is one of a kind as it has a 3D display and none of the other contemporary tablets have the feature making it a much awaited release after it was first revealed at the Mobile World Congress, sources stated. India is though a slow adopter of tablets as the price range of these is not in the reach of common man’s budget. If tablets become available in a range of Rs.10,000-12,000 they will receive the kind of popularity due for the tablet, experts cited. Local tablet manufacturers have identified this need and are coming up with tablets at reasonable prices. |
